Hi, Latisea Calton here! Co Founder and Lead Interior Designer at MLEE Home Décor and More and Content Creator at Latisea Calton Designs.
As an interior designer who's enjoys being hands on, I am excited to be learning the ropes of home improvement from my carpenter husband Jeremy. Therefore, I’m always on the lookout for tools that are not only functional but also easy to use—whether I’m tackling a project by myself or helping hubs out with client projects. Recently, I had the chance to test out Allway’s 5-in-1 Multi Tool and 12-in-1 Paint Project Kit, and here’s what I found.

First Impressions
Both products arrived well-packaged and felt durable yet surprisingly lightweight. I’m always cautious when testing tools for the first time, especially when it comes to grip and comfort. I was pleased to find that both the 5-in-1 tool and the items in the paint kit felt solid in hand.

The 5-in-1 Multi Tool
I put the 5-in-1 Multi Tool to the test by opening a paint can. It’s made of stainless steel, which immediately reassured me of its strength, and the grip was so comfortable—no slipping or struggling. I was impressed by how well it performed with minimal effort. This tool also has features like a putty knife, paint roller cleaner, crack opener, and a concave scaper. Awesome, right?!
The 12-in-1 Paint Project Kit
Next, I tested out the 12-in-1 Paint Project Kit. This kit comes with a variety of tools, but I paid particular attention to the paintbrush, paint liner, and paint pail. Each tool was easy to use and felt like it could handle the job with precision. The pail has a wide handle for comfort and deep inset to hold a large amount of paint. The paintbrush bristles had a slight angle to help create clean lines in the corners where the walls meet and along the baseboards— surprisingly without the need for paints tape, and the paint liner kept the pail clean and a mess free making clean up a breeze after the project was finished.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I would say both products are perfect for someone still mastering the finer details of a painting project and a professional who likes ease— suitable for all skill levels and 2 tumbs up worthy. As I’m learning and developing more skill set in the home improvement industry, I can confidently say that Allway’s tools products deliver great value and I’m excited to be them again to finish #projectbrother and others in the future!
